Good things come to those who wait

If you know me at all, you know my penchant for fashion in general and shoes in particular. I'm simply taking a moment to crow:


MINE.

and what's even more refreshing about this is that I found them last year sometime on Endless.com (a subsidiary of Amazon, so I'm not bothering to link it, even though I think I like it more than Zappos). At the time that I found them, they cost $68. When I ran across the saved file from last year just the other day and discovered that Endless was out of stock, I checked for them on Ebay.

And found them for $15.

Oh, hell yes.

So people, be patient. And if you, like me, think that trends are fleeting but fashion is eternal and decide to stick to that credo, you would do well to keep your eyes peeled on Ebay for the things that you reeeeallly reeeallly want. It's hard to wait, but delayed gratification (and substantially smaller pricetags) are so very worthwhile.
